She believes that with genuine support and a safe therapeutic relationship, difficult life events can become opportunities for empowerment, healing, and personal development.
Her clinical approach is integrative, drawing from both Psychodynamic Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients explore the underlying roots of their struggles while building practical skills to create meaningful change. She aims to help clients deepen their self-awareness and work toward becoming their best selves.

Dr. Khatami views therapy as a collaborative journey of self-discovery, where client and therapist work together to revisit and process painful memories, foster resilience, and create new possibilities. Her goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where clients feel supported as they navigate their unique paths toward growth and healing.
