Jordan de Leon, BA
PRACTICUM TRAINEE
Jordan works under the supervision of Dr. Rachel Kwon (PSY33823), performing therapy and psychological testing for adolescents and adults. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, and is currently pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School.
Jordan is passionate about working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, couples, and adults. She has gained clinical experience as a therapeutic practicum intern at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, California, where she worked with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds presenting with a wide variety of concerns.
Jordan’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), emphasizing insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Jordan strives to create a safe, collaborative, and client-centered environment where clients feel supported to explore their presenting problems at a comfortable pace. She believes that establishing a therapeutic relationship through empathy, trust, and respect for her clients lived experiences shapes the foundation for meaningful growth and lasting progress.
